Holidays in Talamone Farmhouse

Talamone, an enchanting seaside resort renowned in the past for its flourishing port, is located in close proximity to the little town of  Orbetello and about 25 km from Grosseto.
The town is built upon a rocky promontory situated on the southern border of the Maremma Natural Park and overlooks the whole stretch of coastline that runs from Talamone to Mount Argentario.

The surrounding territory is characterized by typical Mediterranean bush and long stretches of sandy beaches lined with pine forests.

The southern entrance to the Maremma Natural Park - from which many nature trails branch off - is located in the vicinity of Talamone,  
Sports activities, such as kitesurfing, is allowed on the beaches of Talamone.

The town has Etruscan origins  
This little Tuscan town became famous thanks to Giuseppe Garibaldi who docked at Talamone around the second half of the 19th century during one of his many expeditions motivated by his dream of a united Italy,
